Profile

After finishing my Bachelor in IT in 2000, I started working in IT Consultancy on Product Lifecycle Management. During this phase I developed deep technical skills on Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Visual Basic (for Applications) and Portal Technology. In 2005, I shifted my focus to SAP products, in particular SAP NW MDM and SAP NetWeaver Portal. Within these areas, I also developed expert skills on Web Dynpro Java, SAP NW BPM and SAP NW BRM.

Throughout my career, I have always had a clear focus on applying cutting edge technology. More recently I have started developing my skills on In Memory (SAP HANA) and Mobile (UI5/HTML5/Fiori) technology; initially from an architectural/functional perspective, followed by an implementation/technical perspective.

I have well developed communicative and analytical skills and a strong focus on reaching firm results by retrieving the client’s requirements and translating those into solutions that align with Industry Best Practices, safeguarding usability, maintainability and flexibility.

I have participated in numerous SAP NetWeaver Portal projects in combination with SAP NW MDM and SAP NW BPM for food & beverages, telecommunications, high-tech, Oil & Gas and pharmaceutical sector throughout Europe. During these projects, I have carried out roles ranging from technical consultant, responsible for programming and data modelling, to architectural roles, plotting the outline of the solution and acting as coach on the technical area for my colleagues. Furthermore, I have lead numerous courses as a trainer for SAP on SAP NW MDM, both standard trainings as well as trainings that were highly adapted towards the customer’s specific requirements. Finally, I represented SAP Netherlands in the “VSNG Focusgroep for Workflows” from November 2013 to October 2015, where I presented topics on Process Orchestration, Interoperability of Architecture-tooling and SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio and Operational Process Intelligence.
